Lyons will be working as an NSF PRFB Postdoctoral Fellow at University of San Francisco and the Weill Institute of Neuroscience. She will be establishing tardigrades as a model for systems-level neuroscience—developing methods in transgenics, behavioral assays, and whole-brain, whole-body live imaging in tardigrades—to undercover foundational circuits underlying cognition and multi-limbed movement, in the lab of Professor Saul Kato.
