Title:

Assessing indicators of population size and causes of extinction in late Quaternary megafauna

Nick is passionate about outreach--including science, conservation, and environmental outreach--and exploring different perspectives on conservation (e.g., those from the Earth and social sciences) for more effective outcomes. After completing his dissertation he plans to take some time off, possibly apply for postdoc funding for an outreach project and do a thru-hike of the Ice Age Trail--a national scenic trail in Wisconsin.
