Lunchtime Workshops

Allan Wilson pioneered the use of molecular data to understand evolution. We will

be screening an hour-long documentary about his life and accomplishments

Internationally renowned for its collections, the Berkeley Museum of Vertebrate

Zoology hosts over 100 years of biological history and is a resource for research in

fields from systematics to behavior. Attend a small, 45-minute tour showcasing the

The University and Jepson Herbaria are two collections housed at UC Berkeley.

Combined, they hold one of the largest collections of pressed plants in North

America, and focus on systematics, ecology, evolution, and conservation. Attend a
