Kelsey was an undergraduate student who worked on her honors thesis within the project "Light induced changes in leaf and epidermal cell morphology in trees". She studied the effects of light availability on vein density and leaf morphology. She was busy measuring, bleaching, and making microscopic slides of leaves of Quercus kelloggii, Q. robur, Q. chrysolepis and Platanus occidentalis. Kelsey graduated with a B.A. in Integrative Biology in Spring 2011.
Sherry was an undergraduate student who works on her honors thesis within the project "Intra-canopy variation in epidermal morphology in Coastal Redwood and Giant Sequoia". Sherry graduated with a B.A. in Integrative Biology in the Spring 2011.
