Bentley Lab People
I am currently a PhD student interested in integrating molecular biology, biochemistry, and behavioral assays to study how environmental change affects physiology and behavioral plasticity in birds. Before joining the Bentley lab, I worked in the department of environmental health sciences at Columbia University studying respiratory virus transmission in Manhattan and the genetic basis of the immune response. I have a BS in biology and MS in physiological sciences from UCLA where I studied mechanisms of neurosteroidogenesis and behavior in zebra finches. When not in lab, I like to stay active and explore the outdoors as much as possible. I enjoy any and all adventures, pizza (really all food), and painting.
