I am a Research Associate at UC Berkeley, and an NSF Post-doctoral Fellow at UC Davis in the lab of John Wingfield. My research seeks to understand both proximate and ultimate reasons of how brain and circulating hormones mediate reproductive and sexual behaviors in vertebrates. By using an integrative, whole-animal approach, I examine neuroendocrine and molecular factors at the genetic, proteomic, and organ system levels in conjunction with reproductive behaviors and offspring effects in both lab and field settings.
