Plant community ecology, ecophysiology and phylogenetics
I am interested in understanding the ecological and evolutionary forces that structure communities, particularly the highly diverse forests of lowland Amazonia. In my research I use a variety of approaches derrived from community ecology, ecophysiology, and community phylogenetics.
