4. Contact TeachersTeam captain contacts teachers and schedules observation and teaching days and times. E-mail teaching date to GSIs by 2/25. |
5. Develop PresentationsDevelop teaching presentations with team. |
6. Presentation ApprovalMeet with GSI during office hours to go over presentations at least TWO WEEKS before you plan on teaching, . View props. Reserve props at least TWO WEEKS in advance. Receive "GSI Approval Form." |
7. Dr. Diamond ApprovalMeet with Dr. Diamond during office hours (make a reservation) at least ONE WEEK before teaching. Bring written teaching plan. Bring "GSI Approval Form." |
8. Verify ProgressVerify your progress with the GSI by visiting office hours or e-mailing the week of March 7th. Hopefully, your team will be ready and scheduled to teach! |
9. TEACH!Teach two different classrooms, two hour-long lessons per classroom = 4 hours total. |
10. Get EvaluatedSubmit an evaluation form to each teacher with a stamped, addressed (to GSI) envelope. Don't forget to provide your team number and the names of your team members & team captain. |
11. Contact GSIContact GSI after completing teaching. |
12. Reimbursement RequestsSubmit reimbursement request form to Jill Marchant (mail box in 3060 VLSB) no later than Monday, April 18th, 5 pm! |
13. Final ReportSubmit one or two page, single-spaced, typed, final report per person at the potluck. NO REPORT, NO CREDIT! |
14. PotluckEnjoy the potluck dinner. Bring your favorite dish to share Monday, April 25th, 5-7 pm, 2063 VLSB. Submit Final Report. Tell about your experience. Collect reimbursement. |
