What You Should Know

1. Before giving your exam, make sure the forms say "ParSCORE" on them. If you have doubts, contact Jill Marchant to make sure your forms are compatible with the scanner.

2. Make an appointment with Jill to have your exams scanned.

3. Know what reports you'd like printed out.

4. Bring a completed appointment form [PDF] with you to your appointment.

5. Don't forget to bring a completed ParSCORE form answer key with you!

Things to Consider

Different Versions of the Same Exam
To combat cheating, you can have different versions of the same exam. You can have up to four versions of an exam (versions A, B, C, and D).

Make sure you have an answer key for each version and that the students' exams have the correct version of the exam marked on their answer form before you have them scanned.


Subtests
You can analyze "subtests" within one exam.

For example, during your final exam, you have it heavily weighted on the coursework since your last midterm.

You can see how the class did on separate groups of questions within the exam.

The questions for subtests do NOT have to be consecutive. You can have as many subtests as you would like.
